The parish includes the villages of Morgan's Vale immediately west of Redlynch and Lover 1 mile (1.6 km) southeast of Redlynch. Redlynch was formerly part of the parish of Downton.[2] Contents 1 Parish churches 2 References 3 Sources 4 External links Parish churches The Church of England parish church of Saint Mary at Lover is a yellow brick building[3] dating from 1837.[2] The parish church of Saint Birinus at Morgan's Vale was built as a chapel of ease for Downton in 1894-96.[2] It is a red brick Gothic Revival building with stone dressings[2] and Perpendicular Gothic style windows.[3] It was designed by the Gothic Revival architect C.E.
