The population was 139 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. Geography Yeoman is located at 40°40′5″N 86°43′25″W / 40.66806°N 86.72361°W / 40.66806; -86.72361 (40.668138, -86.723597)[3]. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 0.1 square miles (0.3 km²), all of it land. Demographics As of the census[1] of 2000, there were 96 people, 40 households, and 26 families residing in the town. The population density was 787.3 people per square mile (308.9/km²). There were 47 housing units at an average density of 385.5/sq mi (151.2/km²). The racial makeup of the town was 100.00% White. Hispanic or Latino of any race were 3.12% of the population. There were 40 households out of which 32.5% had children under the age of 18 living with them, 45.0% were married couples living together, 15.0% had a female householder with no husband present, and 35.0% were non-families. 32.5% of all households were made up of individuals and 10.0% had someone living alone who was 65 years of age or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 3.04.
