Rob Smith (born February 19, 1966 in Birmingham) is a former English footballer and manager. He currently manages Hednesford Town in the Southern Premier Division. On February 16, 2006, Rob Smith and Larry Chambers were appointed as the new management AFC Telford United.[1] Having secured a top ten finish when Telford had been in the relegation zone he took The Bucks to promotion to the conference north the next year. In the following two seasons Telford missed out on promotion after finishing in the playoffs but did win the Setanta Shield, twice reach the 1st round proper of the FA Cup and quarter finals of the FA Trophy. In 2010 Smith and Chambers were dismissed following a disappointing season. Former clubs the duo have managed at include Redditch United and Willenhall Town.
