This school also lets a group of about 12 students participate in a school "news" program called "PB&J" (Penguin Broadcasting and Journalism). Park Village has also started a paper recycling program, as well as an art program named Meet the Masters, where children learn about artists and do some artwork based on that artist's style. The most recent focus artist was Frida Kahlo. Park Village sometimes also has a San Marcos writing camp in the summer. This school also has a number of after school enrichment programs.
