Contents 1 Song information 2 Chart performances 3 Cover versions 4 Track listings 5 Charts and sales 5.1 Peak positions 5.2 End of year charts 5.3 Certifications 5.4 Chart successions 6 References Song information The song is Lyttle being very turned on by a girl in a club as he sings "you've got me goin' crazy, you, turn me on, turn me on". He makes some reference of the girl pushing him off and Lyttle then says" if you think you're gonna get away from me, you better change your mind". The end of the song does not tell if the girl goes home or does not go home with him, however, in the music video, the girl is dancing with Kevin Lyttle as if she is also turned on. There are various remixes of the song. Many radio stations played the pop mix that had added drums to it to have a more club feel. Another is a Bubbling/Part II remix by DJ Lipe (Santiago, Chile), which the girl is on the track and is turned on. It also has a club feel. There is a Mad Hatters Ball Remix featuring Queen of Soca, Alison Hinds. The song sampled, "All My Love", a song on Room 112 by R&B group 112. Chart performances The song performed very well on the Billboard Hot 100, staying months on the chart and peaking at number four. The song was also successful worldwide, reaching number two in the United Kingdom for two weeks (being the best selling non new entry song twice), number one in Denmark, and number three in Australia. Cover versions As with most songs that become an overnight hit, "Turn Me On" has been covered by numerous artists, including Raghav, Jay Sean, Mumzy Stranger and CocoRosie. There was also a female response from 2 Play called, "Got Me Wrong".
