Martin spent three seasons in the Australian National squad from 2003–2005 and picked up several international caps. He has played many seasons for the Sydney Kings and the Sydney Spirit in the Australasian National Basketball League before moving across the Tasman to New Zealand and has spent the past few years in the National Basketball League. He has since played for the Manawatu Jets and was part of the Wellington Saints in 2009. Martin has since signed with new NBL franchise, the Southland Sharks for 2010 as well as the Australasian NBL club Wollongong Hawks for 2009/10.
