(October 2008) Jason Mulgrew (born July 17, 1979), a blogger and self-proclaimed "Internet Quasi-Celebrity," is the author of a popular blog titled "Everything Is Wrong With Me: 31, Bipolar, and Hungry." According to People magazine, and women around the world, he was one of the 50 Hottest Bachelors of 2005. In the article, "Bachelor Blogger", Mulgrew proclaimed to People magazine, "Women in the Midwest want to marry me!" The tone of Mulgrew's blog, for the most part, is humorous and self-deprecating. Usual topics include drinking, masturbation, sports, and poking fun at himself, particularly his weight. Mulgrew has also included several stories dealing with his misadventures with women. Many entries feature his "Six Songs", listing the music he recommends and explaining why he enjoys each selection. Historically, Mulgrew updated his blog three to four times a week. As of June 2009 and coinciding with his move to Los Angeles, the frequency of updates has been substantially reduced. Mulgrew is a 1997 graduate of Saint Joseph's Preparatory School in Philadelphia and a 2001 graduate of Boston College. A Philadelphia native, Mulgrew lived in Manhattan for approximately seven years, then moved to Los Angeles in June 2008. He has since returned to New York solely for the pizza. Mulgrew encourages readers to attend events in the New York City and tri-state areas, including a weekend in July he and various associates dubbed "Drink Until You Shit," a pub crawl through the bars of North Wildwood, New Jersey. In July of 2011, Mulgrew announced his engagement to an unnamed woman with undoubtedly low self-esteem. Upcoming projects Mulgrew's memoir was slated to be released by DK Publishing in the spring of 2007. However, in an interview on in November 2008, it was noted that his book would be published by HarperCollins. Everything is Wrong with Me: A Memoir of an American Childhood Gone, Well, Wrong was released on March 2, 2010. Variety magazine reported in September 2005 that Mulgrew's sitcom would be about a fat young man in New York City "trying to make a go of it," and would be funded by DreamWorks. On January 22, 2007 Mulgrew announced that the network passed on the show. In December 2010, Mulgrew announced that he would be writing a second book to be published by Harper Perennial.
