Olympic medal record Men's Volleyball Gold 1976 Montreal Team Wiesław Stanisław Gawłowski (May 19, 1950 – November 14, 2000) was a Polish volleyball player who competed in the 1972 Summer Olympics, in the 1976 Summer Olympics, and in the 1980 Summer Olympics. He was born in Tomaszów Mazowiecki and died in Białołęka. In 1972 he was part of the Polish team which finished ninth in the Olympic tournament. He played all six matches. Four years later he won the gold medal with the Polish team in the 1976 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches. At the 1980 Games he was a member of the Polish team which finished fourth in the 1980 Olympic tournament. He played all six matches again.
