He was born in Peckham, London,[1] in 1980 and hails from Chelmsford, Essex.[2] He lived in Japan and studied at the School of Oriental and African Studies at University of London.[3] Gold Panda released several small-issue 7" records and singles in 2009, on Various Production's label among others.
