In 2005 he enrolled at California State University, Fullerton as a Computer Engineer major. Name His music alias is taken from the 1980s Korg keyboard. The name Mono/Poly symbolizes the artist's multifaceted audio productions.[1] Music Charles started being interested in music composition as a kid in the mid 90's. His father had a small studio setup where Charles got his hands on some of his first synthesizers. The Roland Juno keyboard was what really caught his interest. As he got older Charles became curious on how electronic music was made. He began making his earliest music using a simple freeware program he found on the internet called Taureg. Recent Mono/Poly released his first full length record on Tasteful Licks Records entitled Paramatma on May 25, 2010. Mono/Poly has finished his first EP for Brainfeeder records entitled "Manifestations" which will be released April 5, 2011.
